If you are looking for a PTE test centre in India, use Pearson’s live test-centre finder rather than a copied list. Centre availability, test dates and fees can change. Pearson currently says it has more than 62 test centres in India, but the only useful answer is the centre and appointment available for your exact test and city.
Choose the test before you search
- PTE Academic: normally for university study, Australian or New Zealand visa applications, and professional registration.
- PTE Core: for Canadian permanent-residency and citizenship applications; check IRCC and your pathway before booking.
- PTE Academic UKVI: only when a UK visa route requires the UKVI/SELT version.
A better way to choose a centre
- Start with the city you can reach without a stressful same-day journey.
- Compare the next available dates, not just the first centre that appears.
- Check the test type, local fee and booking conditions in the Pearson flow before paying.
- Keep your passport and booking confirmation details consistent; do not assume a coaching centre can change an official booking for you.
Search demand is especially concentrated in Punjab, Kerala, Haryana, Telangana and Maharashtra in Google Trends’ India view (past 12 months, checked 14 September 2026). That is a signal to check the live finder early—not a guarantee that a particular centre has a seat.
